Geena Gauthier - Pitching Instructor

Hi, I’m Geena Gauthier, a dedicated pitching instructor at Progressive Dynamix and a current starting pitcher for Delta College Softball. With 9 years of softball experience, I have a deep passion for helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence in the circle.

During my 4-year varsity career at Pinconning High School, I recorded over 700 career strikeouts, including an incredible 309 strikeouts in my senior year alone. My hard work earned me honors like:

Coach Jeff, a dedicated and experienced trainer who specializes in developing catchers of all ages and skill levels—from beginners to advanced athletes, including collegiate players. With a focus on refining physical mechanics, enhancing mental performance, and helping athletes achieve their goals, Coach Jeff has become a trusted mentor for players looking to excel behind the plate.

Experience and Accomplishments:

• Over 10 years as a Travel Softball Coach.
• 9 years specializing as a Travel Softball Catcher Coach.
• 5 years as an Individual Catcher Instructor, providing personalized one-on-one training.
• 2 years as a Middle School Softball Coach at Swan Valley School.
• High School and Middle School Catching Instructor at Swan Valley School (1 year).
• Currently serving his 1st year as Varsity Softball Head Coach at Saginaw United High School.

Alicia Candelaria- Softball Coach 8u to 14u

Alicia is the newest addition to the coaching staff at Progressive Dynamix, bringing her passion and expertise to young softball players aged 8 to 14.

Nine years of experience in the sport and her current role as a player at Delta College, Alicia has a deep understanding of the game and a genuine commitment to helping athletes grow and succeed.

Alicia’s coaching philosophy focuses on individual development, tailoring her approach to each player’s unique strengths and areas for improvement. She creates a positive, supportive environment where athletes feel encouraged to take risks, learn from their mistakes, and celebrate their progress.

In addition to her hitting lessons, Alicia teaches the essential elements of the game, including fielding techniques, base running, and game strategy. Her emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, and the joy of playing helps young athletes develop both their skills and their love for the game.

Alicia also understands the mental challenges players often face. She works to build resilience and confidence, empowering athletes to believe in their abilities and strive for excellence on and off the field.
